I see that I can customize the primary button color (seems like only the background and text color) in Customizing > Theme Options > Layout & Colors. How do I go further and change the outline, background, text color, and hover colors for both primary and outline buttons? I have searched the style.css, but I cannot seem to get it to work.
The color control from the customizer only allows to change the background and text color of the buttons. If you want to adjust the button more you can use some CSS which you can add via Appearance > Customize > Theme Options > Custom > Custom CSS.
The class to target is: .btn-primary { background: red; }
