I changed the button colors and etc. (the green color) to a gold color. I did it in all of the customization sections. However, it won’t change in the sub-menu of the menu items (the small top border section of sub-menu). Where can I change this green color to match my gold?
The border top on the submenu's (for the transparent header layout) has a own color control in the customizer. Please navigate to Appearance > Customize > Theme Options > Header and set the header layout to Transparent (currently).
Now when you navigate to the Navigation customizer panel you will see the 'Sub Menu Colored Top Line' font controls where you can set your color. If you're done you can set the header layout back to default.
Thanks Barry, but this didn't work. I followed your instructions step by step.
Also, I have a bunch of other references to color: #a2c046. Anchor tags, icons, etc. I need all of these gone so I can make them gold. But, customization is not helping. Please advise.
I attached the fixed customizer file. If you unzip it and overwrite the customizer.php file in the theme folder with the one from the zip the color controls should work again. You can find the customizer.php file via the following path: wordpress/wp-content/themes/the-landscaper/inc/customizer.php
When I unzip, it just opens to: customizer-file.zip.cpgz. It's not uncompressing a php file. Can you check this and resend? I even tried it on website unarchivers. Nothing. Thank you.

Hi Will,
That's strange. I uploaded the file directly to CloudApp, please see this link: https://cl.ly/2y2D272I0K3d This one should work.
Please let me know.

Barry
