something happened and I tried to figure out now for a long time and did research, but haven't solved it. All of a sudden no gallery showed up in my Galery page anymore, where I have inserted a [ess_grid alias="classic"]. I tried with text and page-builder. I set the global settings in Ess. Grid to WP Gallery Default Grid: off.
I want it to be like in the demo, sorted by categories and shown as a Gallery Classic. What happened? Why do they not display any longer? Happy to hear back from you. Linda
The reason why the gallery won't display anything is because there is no category set for the gallery posts (or multiple categories if you want to filter them with the Essential Grid).
The way to fix this is to edit each posts under the Gallery tab and add a category to it. Then please navigate to Ess. Grid -> Settings (green button of the specific grid) -> Source (horizontal tab).
Set 'Posts Types' first to 'Kontaktformular' and then switch back to 'Gallery'. Now you will see the categories of your gallery posts are visible and ready to select below the post types field.
The last thing to do it save the settings with the small green button in the top right of the screen (the button with the floppy disk icon).

I didnt do much research but is there a way to change the weekdays of the opening times widget into another language? Thank you for your time!!
Great! The post categories need to be configured 1 time (or if you add new categories you need to select them on the same way). Indeed, Essential Grid is a very great plugin to display content but it has a lot of options. But if you have any questions feel free to ask them.
Translating the weekdays can be done on 2 ways. 1. Editing the .pot language file with PoEdit (a program) 2. Translate them with the Loco Translate plugin (see point 2 of: Translate Theme)
If you want I can install the plugin and change the weekdays to German for you. I only need to know the correct spelling of the weekdays as I don't speak the german language
