If I'm right the WPML plugin create a specific page for each language? Can you add the "QT: Latest Post" widget to the page builder for each specific language?
I already see what is causing the issue. I created a new category for the dutch language and assigned 1 post to it and that one is displaying it on the dutch frontpage, as you can see here.
But if you select 'Uncategorized' there is no single post displayed. I have fixed this in the widget file (in attachment). Please unzip this zip and overwrite the file on your server (wordpress/wp-content/themes/physio-qt/inc/widgets/widget-recent-post-block.php).
Thanks barry, im glad it was a quick fix. I am having trouble locating the original file on my server. running a search in the file structure for widget-recent-posts-block.php returns nothing, can you be more specific about where this might be within the theme files?

I am having trouble with the translated (dutch) side of my home page.
The Latest posts are not populating into the page when the dutch language is selected.
You can see what i mean in the photograph.
Any help appreciated!

Yes, there is a "QT latest post" widget in both the languages. also, each of the actual posts are in both english and dutch.
I have also tried deleting and re- adding the latest post widget. It just does not appear in the actual page when looking at the dutch version.

Hi Stephen,
Please navigate to the theme folder of your WordPress installation first. You can find this via the following path
root of your WordPress install -> wp-content -> themes
In there you will see the 'physio-qt' folder, which is the Physio WordPress theme.
Then navigate to
physio-qt -> inc > widgets >
In the widgets folder you will find the 'widget-recent-posts-block.php' file. Please overwrite that one with the one from the attachment.
