    Hi!

I'm using WPML to translate my website. When creating a new page for another language different than the default one, I can't see the options for translating the slider. It occurs in home page and in inner pages too.

    How can I solve it?

    Thanks,

    Jordi

    Hi Jordi,

You should create a separate homepage for each specific language so you can change the slider texts/images per language.

Let me know if you have any questions.

    Best regards,
    Barry

    Hi Barry,

What I wanna do is a little bit difficult. I can translate the hompage slider. That's ok!

I'm using a slider too in an inner page to create an attractive landing page. That's the landing page URL:  http://www.parcsijardinscatalunya.com/manteniment-jardins-cerdanya/

After creating that page, I have installed WPML. I created another page for spanish. It's here: http://www.parcsijardinscatalunya.com/es/mantenimiento-jardines-cerdanya/

The problem is that, now I can't edit the slider content. I can't in the spanish version and I can't in the original one. The slider options box is not showing. I attach two captures form the wp admin.

Now, if I desactivate the WPML plugin, I still can't see the slider option in the admin.

    Thanks,

    Jordi

    Hi Jordi,

Seems like there is an issue with the page roles in the acf field because it is not showing up. Can you try to overwrite the acf-fields.php file in the theme folder on your server with the attached one (after unzipping).

You can find the acf-fields.php file via wordpress/wp-content/themes/thelandscaper/inc/

    Best regards,
    Barry

    Hi Barry,

Sorry. I've found what happens. I needed to do some changes in the slider frontend. To do it, I have created a template called "Landing Fullwidth Slider" copying the "Homepage Fullwidth Slider" template.

When I use the "Landing Fullwidth Slider", I'm not seeing the slider metabox. That was the problem. It's solved esaly selecting the "Homepage Fullwidth Slider" template. Then I can edit the slider and select again the landing template to save it.

    Thanks,

    Jordi
