Do I have any option that the mobile menu is not complete open? I have a lot of under sites, and the menu is very long.

    Hi Niclas

    Not by default.
But with some small code customizations that would be possible. We assist you with that if you want?

    Hi Niclas

I will write down the steps to follow:

    1. Download attached zip file and name is 'physio-qt-child.zip' (without the '')

    2. Upload and install the child theme via your WordPress admin (Appearance -> Themes -> Add New -> Upload)

Note: After you've activated the child theme it could be possible that some widgets needs to be reset in the header and footer. This is a common 'issue' when changing to a child theme

    3. If you go to Appearance -> Menu's and select the Primary Navigation.

    4. Click the 'Screen Options' tab on the top right corner of the screen. And check the 'CSS Classes' checkbox

    5. Now if click on, for example, the services link panel in the menu you see below you can add this class to the CSS Classes field: hide-submenu

    6. Save the menu with the blue button 'Save Menu'

    7. Now when you visit your website on a mobile of tablet device (or resize the browser to < 992px ) you can click on the services to display the submenu items. And double tab to go to the server page url.

Let me know if you have any questions.

    Best regards,
    Barry

I already finish the website approx 80%, so the child theme is no option. Any other ideas?

    Hi Niclas

There are not other options when there are code customizations made to the parent theme. The only option is to use the child theme so you can use the code i wrote for you and not lose them on a parent theme update.

When you activate the child theme, like I already described, it could happen that a single widget only in the Header or Footer panel needs to be added manually again. So no pages or content will be removed.

The code jQuery code customization is already written in the included child theme so you only need to follow the steps i wrote down below.

What is the different between the child and the other theme?

    Barry replied

    Hi Niclas

A WordPress child theme is a WordPress theme that inherits its functionality from another WordPress theme, the parent theme (Physio in this case). Child themes are often used when you want to customize or tweak an existing WordPress theme without losing the ability to upgrade that theme.

If you want more information about child themes you can see this link

Ok. It works perfectly. An other problem is the color of the menu link. I have a menu with many submenus and the link looks blue. I can not find a setting to change the color. When I have link with no submenu the activated color is correct, but not with a submenu. Best regards, Niclas

    Hi Niclas

You're right. There was a small bug in the position of the output from the theme colors. I fixed it and attached the PHP file.

If you download the file and save it as 'theme-customizer.php' (without the '' ) then if you navigate to the theme folder: physio-qt/inc/ overwrite the file with the one you downloaded.

We will include this file also in the next theme update but don't have a ETA yet, so if you need to use the options you can follow the above description.

The activate (parent) menu links color can be controlled with the: (Mobile) Navigation Link Active color. The one for the submenu links can be controlled with: (Mobile) Navigation Submenu Active Link Color.

    Cheers!

    Best regards,
    Barry

    Hi Niclas

    Thank you for the screenshots.

I dived into the file again and made some changes. It looks like it is working now as it should on our side. See the attached file and repeat the steps i wrote down below to overwrite the file.

Let me know if it worked on your side

    Thanks!
