Could you check if you navigate to Ess. Grid -> edit the specific grid -> Source Tab if there are any 'Post Categories' set.
If not, select 'Contact Form' in the 'Post Type' field above and then back to 'Gallery', now the Categories will be visible and you can select the categories to display again.

one question regarding the project galleries on homepage. One time it's loading, one time not.
Any idea what the reason could be for this ?
