    Hello again! :)

I got a question regarding videos in Ess Grid.

Is it possible to make them pop up when I click on them?

I got an example on this page: www.nutriceler.com/videos

    Thanks!

    Hi Eduardo

Yes that\'s possible but requires some basic customization in the Essential Grid.

Basically it comes down that you need to link the magnifying glass icon to the embedded media.

Here you can read how to do that: http://www.themepunch.com/faq/open-video-lightbox/

I think the best way is to duplicate the \'The Landscaper Lightbox\' skin (which you can find via Ess. Grid -> Item Skin Editor -> Page 4 -> Press the orange \'duplicate\' skin button of \'The Landscaper Lightbox\'.

Then edit the skin, and rename it for example to: Display Video or something like that. Then when you click on the magmagnifying glass icon, click on the \'Link/SEO\' tab, and in the select field of \'Link To\' you can set it to \'Play Embedded Media\'. See attached screenshot for these steps.

Now at last you only need to go to Ess. Grid -> Edit the video grid. and click on \'Source\' tab on top and select the post type and category of the video posts.

Let me know if that worked.

    Best regards,
    Barry

    Hi Eduardo

I just reproduced the situation and got it working like this (you only need a thumbnail for the video)

    1. Add a post per video in the \'Essential Grid Posts\' menu item, and fill in each Youtube ID and set the \'Featured Image\' on the right side of the screen
    2. Duplicate \'The Landscaper Lightbox\', and rename it to \'The Landscaper Video\' after
    3. Go to Ess. Grid -> edit your video grid.
    4. Click on the Lightbox tab on top of the page and check the \'Youtube Video\' checkbox.
    5. Now go to the Source tab and only check the \'Featured Image\' at Media Source
    6. Now go to Settings -> Media and check the \'Youtube\' and \'Iframes\' checkbox at Fancybox, save the page.

    This should do the trick.

    Best regards,
    Barry
