I purchased and install your theme. No images were imported. According to your documentation I need to use the Essential Grids. That plugin was not install with recommended installs.
How do I get the images?
How to I get the Essential Grids plugin? I could not find it in the add plugins.
I found the Essential Grids plug in the extras. I had to manually install it. You need to add this to your documentation.
About the the images: I see now that they are not included. This is very disappointing! for $59 these images should be included. I just purchased another theme for $19 and their images were include. No worth the price with no image. Will not purchase a theme from you again, unless the images are included.
Thank you for reaching out and for purchasing the theme.
We completely understand that everyone has different expectations when it comes to pricing. Our goal is to keep the theme affordable while also maintaining a sustainable business, since this is our full-time work.
It’s also worth noting that across ThemeForest most themes don’t include images unless it’s explicitly mentioned. Even themes priced between $79 and $90 often exclude them for the same reasons, as stated below.
Regarding the images: We are not allowed to include the images used in the theme demo within the downloadable theme due to licensing and copyright restrictions. This is mentioned on the item page on ThemeForest. If you are looking for the images used in the demo, please refer to the following article which includes a link to the collection on the stock photography provider’s website:
About Essential Grid: this plugin is a gallery/grid plugin and is not related to the stock images shown in the demo. If you are using the Elementor Page Builder, you actually do not need Essential Grid at all. The gallery grids used in the demo can be edited directly inside the Elementor editor, which is much easier and more flexible than managing them through Essential Grid. I agree, this is something we can work on and make it more clear.
That said, we strongly recommend managing the gallery grids directly in Elementor (just as it is now), as this is the simplest and most convenient method.
If you need help replacing the demo images or editing the galleries in Elementor, feel free to let us know and we’ll be happy to assist.
Thank you for your response. Since you recommending not using the Essential Grid plugin. You have not provided any documentation on how to edit the gallies. All of your documentation refers to Essential Grid.
How do I edit the gallies so I can add my own images?
There are two different types of gallery grids on your website:
Lightbox Gallery: this gallery opens images directly in a lightbox when you click them.
Project Gallery: this gallery links each image to its own project page, where you can add more detailed content.
To edit the Lightbox Gallery, you can simply go to the “Gallery Lightbox” page and update the grid using the Elementor editor. I’ve attached an image to guide you through the steps.
The Project Gallery works a bit differently. Instead of editing images directly in the grid, you manage them through individual posts in your WordPress dashboard under the Galleries admin tab.
For each item, you’ll need to create or edit a post and make sure it includes:
a title
a featured image
a category
(You can refer to the second attached image for an example.)
Once you’ve added or updated your posts, the grid will automatically reflect those changes on the “Gallery” page. You can edit the grid there if needed, but in most cases this isn’t necessary, as all posts from the Galleries section are displayed automatically (please refer to the third attached screenshot).
If anything is unclear or you’d like a hand setting this up, just let me know, I’m happy to help.
