Hi. I started working on a website and I can’t figure out how to upload my images to the website so that they can be seen from the client side. Now these are just windows with recommended sizes. By the way, thank you for having them, so I know what size images to insert.

And one more question, can I use another booking plugin instead of the one you have in the template.
    Thank you for your help.

    Hi Elena,

Thank you for your message, let me answer your questions.

The location to change the image depends on the section or element from the theme. Basically there are 4 different locations that I have written below.

If these 4 areas does not cover the image you want to edit just let me know which one specifically and I'm happy to provide the steps for it.

    1. Logo image

The logo can be uploaded by going to Appearance -> Customize -> Logo & Site Icon at the "Logo" setting.

    https://docs.qreativethemes.com/docs/thermen/header/logo-favicon/

    2. Slider images

The slider images of the homepage slider can be changed by going to the "Pages" tab on your dashboard and edit the homepage (don't edit with the page builder, only click the name of this page).

At the bottom of this page you will see the slider field where you can remove the default placeholder images and upload your own images (see 1st attached image).

    https://docs.qreativethemes.com/docs/thermen/slider/

    3. Services images

On the homepage you see a services section with 4 services. Let's take the "Facial Massages" service item as example.

This image can be changed by going to the "Pages" tab on your dashboard and edit the "Facial Massages" page (don't edit with the page builder, only click the name of this page).

At the right side of the page you find the "Featured Image" field where you can change this image. A screenshot of this field can be found in this documentation article:

    https://docs.qreativethemes.com/docs/thermen/widgets/featured-page/

    4. Other images

Other images on the pages can be changed directly within the page builder itself. You can click the element to edit it and within the left panel the image can be changed.

I have added two screenshots that visually explain how to edit a background image (see 2nd attached image) and how to edit the image from an element such as the "Explore our Sauna's" section on the homepage (see 3rd attached image).

    ---

Regarding the booking plugin; Absolutely, you're free to use the booking plugin you like.

Hope this helps, let me know if you have any questions!

Thank you for your detailed answer! This will help a lot in setting up my website.

    1) I couldn’t find where I can change this picture. This looks to me like a picture related to the main menu (1 screenshot)

    2) I tried to replace the image slider on the Home page, but I don’t see it on the website, and the system asks "For Simple Page Sidebars to work, a default sidebar needs to be selected on the Reading settings screen." (2 screenshot)

    1. Looking at your screenshot I think the template setting on the homepage got changed to default template instead of the slider template. Could you follow the steps in point 2 here below to make the slider visible again for the homepage?

Regarding this image pointed out in your first screenshot for all other pages; this image can be changed under Appearance -> Customize -> Page Heading at the "background image" setting (please see 1st attached image).

    2. To make the slider appear on the homepage again please try to update the "template" setting on the homepage to "Front Page" and save the page. You can find the template setting in the right sidebar while editing the page (please see 2nd attached image).

If everything goes well the slider should be visible on the homepage.

    3. This notice will go away if you navigate to Settings -> Reading on your dashboard and set the "Default sidebar" setting to "Page Sidebar" and save the settings.

    Hope this helps.
