I was updating the slider images and uploaded three. All working fine. Uploaded a third and slider has disappeared from wordpress and homepage - cant update it. cant see it at all. Any ideas?
The slider is part of a template file from the theme and can be displayed on a page by selecting the specific template. As far as I know the only way to enable or disable the slider completely on a page is by the points I described in my previous reply.

I keep going onto homepage the find the slider missing again. I change setting back and it then comes back. thisnis strange as I am not altering anything to do with the homepage or slider recently.
I feel like I want to unwind everything and reload the whole theme. Is that possible and if so, how would I go about it?
You can do a hard reset for your site by installing the WP Reset plugin and start the reset under Tools -> WP Reset by scrolling to the "Site Reset" section on the page.
Check the 3 checkboxes, type "reset" in the input field and press the "Reset site" button (see attached image).
! Please note: This will delete all pages and changes from your site. You literally going back to a fresh theme installation. After the reset is done you can re-import the pre-built pages again under Appearance -> Import Demo Data. Also make sure you have access to your administrator account because all other accounts that are created for the site will be removed.
If you still experiencing the same issue after is there any change you could provide me a login so I have a closer look to find out what's going on?

Thanks, but it says that version of wp won’t let me download that plug-in
am using a Jetpack backup to take it back to moment I installed. May sort things out
