My client tried to use the booking system for different services such as chiropractic and massage services. There are different practitioners to provide these services and time slots. How can we set up the system let patients to choose practitioners and different length of session (30 mins and 60 mins)? I know I can create different time slots but new patient need longer appointment and repeat patient need standard time. Patients do not know they need to choose 30 mins or 15 mins slots. So I need to set up which service the patient choose and ask them whether they are new patients or not.
In that case you can create separate appointment calendars for all practitioners each having their own bookable time slots. If you navigate to Appointments -> Calendars you can create the separate calendars (see attachment #1).
Now when you navigate to Appointments -> Settings -> Time Slots you can add the time slots for each practitioners by using the select field (see attachment #2).
But probably from this point it will be hard to configure the Booked plugin for what you want to achieve as the plugin only have fixed time slots or an "all day" time slot. It is not possible to have a 30 minute and 60 minute time slot starting at the same time. Also, it is not possible to change the length of the time slot based on the input of the patient whether they're new or not.
I'm not sure if you will find a plugin that will fully suit your needs but you might want to take a look at the following plugins that will be a better fit for what you're looking for:
The connection between service, worker, date and time is better integrated in the Easy Appointments plugin and you don't have to work with separate appointment calendars as in the Booked plugin.
