Error with Titles made with SiteOrigin Editor

    The SiteOrigin Editor "Title" field doesn't follow the "Design" parameters.

    In example, on home page the code in the "About Us" section has these lines:

    <div class="so-widget-sow-editor so-widget-sow-editor-base">
    <h3 class="widget-title"><span class="normal"> About </span> Us</h3>
    ...

    The problem, as I understand it so far, is that the Theme Code inserts a CSS code inline, with the span class "normal".

    Hi Antonis,

    Thank you for purchasing the Physio WordPress theme, let me answer your question.

    The <span class="normal"></span> HTML tag is added by our theme because the first word in the widget title have a normal font weight while the rest of the title is displayed in bold font weight. This is part of the design of the theme.

    Please note that this span tag don't affect your SEO at all. A span tag is just an inline formatting tag and has no real meaning for SEO. The question about adding a <span> tag to heading elements have also been raised at SEO software companies like moz.com and they also confirm there is no issue at all:

    If you still want to get rid of the <span> tags inside the widget title's you can add a editor widget and create your titles by adding them to the textarea instead of the widget title input field.

    Best regards,
    Barry
