You can use the Simple Image Sizes plugin to change the image size of the slider images on mobile. After installing the plugin you can change the size of the "physio-qt-slider-s" under Settings -> Media.
To apply the new size to your current uploaded slide images you can use the Regenerate Thumbnails plugin. After the images are regenerated you can delete this plugin.
I'm not familiar with the Adaptive Images plugin but if you would like to use an image compression plugin I recommend to use the Smush plugin.
