Hi, I have recently created a new Google Ads campaign and I am trying to track conversions on the website. I have successfully added the global snippet to the header using the Theme Editor but I do not see how to add the event snipped to the specific page I want to track (in this case, the contact form created using Contact Form 7 and being placed on https://yandllandscaping.com/contact-us/.
The best option is to link Google Ads to Google Analytics so you can track submission events. This article describe step-by-step how to configure this.
Another option (without using Google Analytics) is to redirect the visitor to another page after a form submission by using the Redirection for Contact Form 7 plugin.
Please note that making changes directly to the template files are overwritten when updating the theme.
So I'm actually already familiar with both those options, my question is exactly how to add the event snipped to the page where I want the conversion to take place. With your theme, how do I access the HTML of an individual page so I can add the code to it?
Unfortunately you can't access the HTML code of individual pages. WordPress generate pages dynamically based on the "page.php" template, this template is used for all default pages on your WordPress installation.
If you're looking for a way to add event snippets to a specific page(s) you need to install a plugin. There are 2 options:
With this plugin you can manage all your snippets under a new tab in the admin menu. If you have a lot of different tracking scripts I recommend to use this plugin because it is easier to manage all your snippets.

If you're looking for a way to add event snippets to a specific page(s) you need to install a plugin. There are 2 options:
1. Header Footer Code Manager plugin
With this plugin you can manage all your snippets under a new tab in the admin menu. If you have a lot of different tracking scripts I recommend to use this plugin because it is easier to manage all your snippets.
see "header-footer-code-maanger-plugin.jpg" attachment
2. SOGO Add Script plugin
This plugin add a new option field to the bottom of each post & page where you can add your custom code.

Hope this helps.
