I'm sorry but I don't understand your question or the exact issue. The wp-config.php file is one of the most important files of the WordPress core installation and is not coming in or from the theme. I just checked your website and it's fully working on my side, please see the attachment.
Our theme is coded by WordPress standards, has passed a strict review of the Envato ThemeForest review team and we're always make sure the theme is working on the latest updates of WordPress.
Can you explain further what you mean or what your question is?
I have made a screencast when I clicked through your website. Unfortunately I can't seem to reproduce or see the issue because your website nor any of the links on your website is redirecting to "bad sites". You can see the screencast here.
I really need some more information/details or at least see the issue live to know what's exactly going on because on my end everything seems to work as it should without any noticeable issues as you can see in the screencast.
Your hosting provider probably mean something about security and the latest WordPress update. This mean that the issue was related to the WordPress core installation and not from our theme (those things need to be separately updated).
At this point I can only advice you to take some steps to increase the security of your website on the following ways:
1. Make sure your hosting package, security settings/patches and things like PHP versions are up to date on your server
2. Use a very strong username/password combination for everything on your website. So for the WordPress login but also for the database which is connected to your website.
3. Install security plugins like iThemes Security and enable some of the security packages. Here you can read how to get started with this plugin.
4. Install a SSL certificate on your server so your website is server over a secure connection (https instead of http). Currently your website does not have an SSL certificate installed or at least it is not configured yet. Most hosting providers provide the option to enable SSL within the hosting panel of your website (like cPanel or Plesk). If you're not familiar with this you can always ask your hosting provider to enable this.
After the SSL certificate has been installed you need to configure some things in WordPress to make WordPress work well with SSL please follow these steps:
5. Don't install any plugins that are not updated in a while and never leave plugin de-activated if you don't use them, plugin you're not using need to be deleted.
6. Create a backup of your website with a plugin like UpdraftPlus or Duplicator so you can easily restore the website if something goes wrong.
7. Always make sure you update the WordPress installation, plugins and theme to the latest available version.
What happened to my wpconfig file? My host (hostgator) says it has to do with a bad wordpress theme?
