When I use the button shortcodes, the button shows up but does not work. The href attribute value entered in the shortcode does not show in the anchor element the href attribute always seems to be absent.
Please make sure you're using the button as follow:
[button href="#"] Text on Button [/button]
The # need to be replaced with the full url of your domain and page so if you want to link a button to the services page for example the shortcode will look like this:
[button href="http://yourdomain.com/services"] Text on Button [/button]
Please make sure the link inside the href attribute is added as plain text and not as clickable link. Sometimes the text editor will automatically create a clickable link when you paste the url (see attachments).
