The ninja forms added via widget or by "appending" appear to be loading but in fact, do not load until the page is reloaded/refreshed. Does your theme not compatible with ninja forms? What forms should I be using?-Even though I prefer ninja forms...
Can you try to add the ninja form shortcode inside the "Visual Editor" widget and uncheck the "Automatically add paragraphs" checkbox below the textarea to see if that fix the issue. (screenshot).
We're using Contact Form 7 in our theme and have not tested Ninja Forms, but our theme is coded by WordPress standards so it should not cause any issues.
Can you try to add the default "Contact Form" layout of the Ninja Forms plugin to the page and see if that one works?
I have installed Ninja Forms on my local installation but did not found issues with this default "Contact Form" layout (see attached image). Maybe the issue is related to a specific element of the form layout you're using.
If the issue remain I recommend to submit a support ticket at the Ninja Forms support

Sadly, the shortcode with unchecking the add paragraph box still didn't work.
Okay, somehow by accident at one point the shortcode populated in differently and made this code which seems to resolve the problem:
