I was analyzing the performance of the website, when I noticed through a wordpress performance plugin monitor that one script was executing slow/hanging.
Upon analysis, it seems there's a missing component.
After taking a closer look to your website I could not find any errors in the browser console about this missing file. If you navigate to the picturefill file path you mentioned the script file loads correctly.
Did I missed something or have you re-uploaded the file already?
Hey Barry, ....actually, when the website was loading very slowly, I checked the results of the Query Monitor - Scripts - where this script was mentioned (with the missing file as mentioned in my initial post). So I thought/assumed the slow response time was due to a script which was missing on my website.
I am wondering whether the plugin to cache the website (WP Fastest Cache) does compress the js scripts and therefore makes them sometimes 'unaialble'?
Just a thought (and trying to speed up loading the site)
The WP Fastest Cache do have this option to combine and compress theme scripts and styles. Under the WP Fastest Cache tab in the admin menu you can enable/disable this option.
It's a common issue when you combine all theme and plugins scripts and stylesheets that some of them will give issues. Some plugins provide the option to exclude scripts from being combined. If there are scripts that give issues on this you can add them to exclude from combining, but I'm not sure WP Fastest Cache provide this option.

picturefill

Should I reextract this script from the zip file and upload it once more?
Could this script have been removed with the WordPress Fast Cache plugin?
Thanks a lot!
