Help! I created blog posts and there was an option at the bottom of the edit screen that allowed me to add social media share buttons to my posts. I checked it off and wanted the social media share icons, however, when I realized that they are not attractive and do not match the theme at all, I opted for a plugin instead but the themes social media share icons will not go away! I un-checked the box, updated, and still - there they are on every post! Now the box is gone completely but the buttons still remain. I even tried creating a new post to see if that fixed it but there they are. Please let me know how to remove these social media share buttons for good - the colorful one's. Many, many thanks.
If you want to remove our social share buttons on the website please navigate to Appearance > Customize > Theme Options > Blog and set the 'Display share buttons' select field to 'Hide'.
I just visited a couple of news posts on your website and the default theme sharing buttons are already removed from the blog posts. The grey colored buttons from the plugin you installed are only visible (see attachment).

Many thanks Barry! I actually figured it out right after I posted my ticket but I figure it may be good information for someone else.
You're welcome
