Thanks again for the excellent WP theme. We really like it so far!
However, we are having one issue where the width of the blog content is going 12 columns wide and pushing the sidebar down below it. We wish the content were only 9 columns wide (are our other pages with a right-sidebar are).
How can we get our main blog page and posts to display the content only 9 columns wide? Thank you.
1. Navigate to Settings -> Reading 2. Select 'A static page' at Front Page displays 3. Set Front Page to 'Home' and Post Page to 'Blog' 4. Then navigate to Pages -> Edit Blog and check if the sidebar is set to left or right in the sidebar metabox
Thanks for your reply! The post page was already set to 'Blog' which is good but I did not see the meta box for sidebar... So I deactivated several plugins.. (Breadcrumb NavXT, columns shortcodes, custom sidebars, and 3 more)... then when I refreshed the blog edit page 3 new field areas appeared... "subtitle" "Page Header Settings" and "SIDEBAR SETTINGS" -- Yeah my sidebars are working now. I now re-activated the plugins and the settings are still there.
Thanks so much for all your help and your quick replay.
Good to hear the sidebars are working now. Probably one of the plugins (I think Column Shortcodes) is causing a issue with our settings metaboxes in the theme.
I'm quite sure Breadcrumbs NavXT is not causing the issue as this plugin comes as default with the theme. So if you need breadcrumbs on your website you can enable the plugin again

Hi Kevin,
Please check the following:
1. Navigate to Settings -> Reading
2. Select 'A static page' at Front Page displays
3. Set Front Page to 'Home' and Post Page to 'Blog'
4. Then navigate to Pages -> Edit Blog and check if the sidebar is set to left or right in the sidebar metabox
That should do the trick
Best regards,
Barry
